It was only a few hours after we heard about our wonderful gift to go to Mexico that we got a call from one of the elders at the church in Amarillo letting us know that the church wasn’t going to be able to pick up any new works and would not be able to be our sponsoring congregation. They had hoped to make it work, but the numbers weren’t coming in, and so they had to decline. For those of you who are subscribed to our weekly prayer update, you know that our only two real possibilities for a sponsoring congregation were a church in Amarillo and a church in Bakersfield, California. That was Wednesday.
Bakersfield called on Thursday. Same message, different reasons.
So here we sit wondering how in the world we’re going to make our June departure date, but we are not losing hope. In fact, last night Sunset showed our “Here Am I, Send Me” video and a minister from a church in Oklahoma expressed some interest in hearing more. So we write today to ask you to please continue to pray for us.
Pray that our will is His will.

we were looking for support for three months and it happened in ONE HOUR. . . . mike had a meeting with the men of our congregation and returned with the news that no one had anymore ideas and so we were looking at a move. . . .he had a meeting with the AIM team, and after the meeting, a phone call, he came home two hours after the first meeting to tell me we were here to stay. . . keep your mind open, it comes from unlikely places, I think just as a reminder that God really is the one in charge!!!

I’m so sorry my sweet kids, keep your faith, I know how bad you need to get some good news soon, so you can move forward with your Ukraine plans, it’s so hard when your kinda at a stale point in your life, cause you really have so much to do to get ready. God has a plan, as you always tell me.
But, good that a OK church, might have some interest. I will pray, pray, pray, pray and pray for you! :)
I LOVE YOU GUYS!, Love, Mom
