Brandon, John and I are sitting in a 24 hour Starbucks in San Francisco, drinking coffee and wasting time until Gayla gets off work. I learned two things about Starbucks tonight. First of all, I learned that 24 hour Starbucks exist. Secondly, I learned that they stop brewing decaf at noon. That seems weird. Don’t people want decaf at night so that they can have the coffee experience, but still fall asleep? Maybe that’s just me. They brewed it for me anyway, though, which was nice.
Tomorrow we are moving the RV up to Rescue to visit my family. We try to spend Christmas Eve all together, both his family and mine. It’s a lot of fun, and we’re looking forward to it again this year. I am so grateful that our families are close enough to be able to that, both in distance and relationally. They actually like to spend the holidays with the in-laws, which is great for us!
So as we make the three-and-a-half-hour drive up the hill tomorrow keep us in your prayers. A broken down RV would surely put a damper on our holiday spirit.
