Well Katie and I are at my parents’ this week. That’s their house, by the way. Forty feet of what-more-do-you-need goodness, currently nestled in the wine country of Morgan Creek, California. Sure, having our bedroom in the living room and kitchen and dining room and office gets a little tight, but it’s fun. And the weather here in the San Jose area has been absolutely gorgeous! It really only feels like the beginning of fall outside.
After we flew in on Thursday, we spent the day in San Francisco. Then yesterday we spent the day in Morgan Hill itself, saw Avatar in IMAX 3D in the afternoon, and then toured the Christmas in the Park event in downtown San Jose in the evening. Today’s been my first day of relaxation, though Katie and my mom spent the afternoon doing some Christmas shopping. It is good to be here with family and I’m thankful for this time God has given us.
